Fourth of July is the perfect day to spend time with family and friends around the grill. But this year, stand out from the basics and transform your party with this mix of products that enhance your meal, as well as your grilling skills.
Brooklyn Brine Co. is whipping up some one-of-a-kind pickle creations that give the classic Kosher Dill a run for it’s money. Their Off Centered Beer Pickle is a collaboration with Dogfish Head Brewery’s 60 minute IPA, and makes for an interesting pairing to the traditional cheeseburger. They also make several other cocktail-inspired pickles, including their Maple Bourbon and Whiskey Sour flavors in addition to their more traditional styles. Their pickles are made by hand and use responsible and local ingredients, which could help explain their rise to the top of Brooklyn’s food scene. These pickles will add a little boozy flare to your Fourth of July condiment spread!
Little Acre Gourmet’s line of condiments is the perfect compliment your 4th of July barbecue dishes. Whether you’re grilling up hot dogs and sausages, making hors d’oeuvres or dressing up meat, these products add interesting notes of both savory and sweet elements. Their whole seed mustards, sweet and savory onions and spicy ketchups are made with all natural, gluten-free, non-GMO ingredients, with no artificial colors or flavors. Made in small batches, Little Acre’s Products are used to transform your everyday foods into something special.
Move over s’mores! Malvi Marshmallows uses top of the line ingredients and unique flavor combinations to set their marshmallows apart from any mallow treat you’ve seen before. The term “Malvi” comes from the Spanish word for marshmallow, malvavisco. Their operation was first inspired by creator Laura Curtis’s raspberry hibiscus marshmallows, paired with chocolate shortbread, which they are still selling today. Their marshmallows are sandwiched between shortbread style cookies, and they offer other unique flavors, including Spiked Espresso and Fluffer Nutter, which will alter what you think a marshmallow should taste like. Break out some Malvi’s at your Fourth of July gathering, toast them over the fire or grill and show your friends a dessert treat they won’t forget. And isn’t it frustrating when you perfectly roast your marshmallow, while your chocolate remains hard and unmelted? S’more To Love brings you an innovative pan that allows you to evenly heat your s’mores over the barbecue or even in the oven. It creates a perfect version of everyone’s favorite summer treat, while adding convenience and ease to the s’more making process. No more dirty campfires or burnt marshmallows. Just as your Fourth of July party is winding down, surprise your guests with this fun gadget and some gooey s’mores to top off the event.
Berg & Hauck’s takes bitters from the bar to the spice rack. Typically, bitters are used to flavor your refreshing cocktails, but have you ever thought to include them in your summer barbeque recipes? Each of their bitters flavors serves as both a great addition to your favorite cocktails, as well as an interesting component in your recipes. Their Celery Bitters works great in a Bloody Mary, while also serving as an exotic choice to add into a salad dressing. Why not make a bitters infused barbecue sauce using their Jerry Thomas bitters to elevate what you have cooking on the grill? And don’t forget about dessert. Add some Old Time Aromatic Bitters to your brownies to add hints of cinnamon, cardamom, anise, and cloves. Berg & Hauck’s Bitters will not only spice up your cold Fourth of July summery cocktails, they will also add a twist to your favorite dishes.
The OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer provides all the tools necessary for eating your perfectly ripe avocado that you’ve been patiently waiting to eat. This Fourth of July, when you decide to make several large batches of guacamole for all your hungry guests, don’t sweat the avocado prep. This avocado slicer will save you time and frustration, while allowing you to focus on the other dishes you’re preparing.
